ABSTRACT:
A tape for slide fasteners is provided, which comprises a fastener tape1having one side edge that defines a zipper element tab3and the other side edge that defines a seam allowance4. The fastener tape1is provided on its front surface with a covering tape2having at an edge an enclosure6for covering a zipper element5along its full length thereof. The enclosure6is a double-weaving enclosure through which core yarns8are inserted to form a core cord9. The enclosure may be ornamented.
