ABSTRACT:
A fuel pump module and carbon canister assembly adapted for mounting within a fuel tank. A fuel pump module has a flange and a body carried by the flange. A carbon canister is attached to the body of the fuel pump module and is adapted for an inclined orientation with respect to the flange of the fuel pump module. The fuel tank may include a bottom and a top having an opening through which the fuel pump module and carbon canister assembly may be inserted. The carbon canister may be adapted for resting on the bottom of the fuel tank once inserted therein.
