ABSTRACT:
An apparatus and method for improving multifilament textile yarn interlacing includes two spaced apart interlacing jet nozzles2aand2bpositioned so that the yarn channels4aand4bof the two nozzles are aligned in a tandem relationship. High pressure air is injected into an upstream nozzle2awith a velocity component tending to entrain or advance the yarn through the upstream nozzle2a. High pressure air is injected into the downstream nozzle2bwith a velocity component tending to retard passage of the yarn through the downstream nozzle2b.
