ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is hydroxyl group or hydrogenatom, or a salt thereof. The compound (I) has an acitivity to inhibit angiogenesis, which is useful for prophylaxis and therapy of various diseases accompanying abnormally increased angiogenesis, especially of tumors.
