ABSTRACT:
The compounds of the instant invention are ligands for the NK.sub.2 receptor. The compounds are modified at the C-terminus to provide various amide isostere derivatives expected to be useful in treating obesity, anxiety, gastrointestinal ulcers, pain, stroke, and inflammation. Pharmaceutical compositions and methods of using the compounds are also included.
