ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a table operating device for a machine tool having a table on which a work is mounted and a table lifting means for supporting the table and for vertically moving the table. The table operating device according to this invention has a vertically extended clamping member disposed underneath the table, a first reference plane provided on a side to the clamping member for positioning the table in a first direction on a horizontal plane; a second reference plane provided on a side to the clamping member for positioning the table in a second direction on the horizontal plane; a first pressing member for pressing the clamping member to the first reference plane; and a second pressing member for pressing the clamping member to the second reference plane.
