ABSTRACT:
In a system for screening off an area, a partition element substantially covers the space between two upstanding carrier elements. The partition element is catchable in the carrier elements in a temporary, unstable preparatory position. The partition element lacks the capability of remaining in the preparatory position by its own force. The partition element is further movable from the preparatory position to a fixedly locked position in the carrier elements. In a method of mounting and dismounting of a partition element on two upstanding carrier elements, the partition element is hooked in the carrier elements in the preparatory position. Thereafter, the partition element is moved to a fixedly locked position in the carrier elements.
