ABSTRACT:
A system for selectively delivering cold, lukewarm, warm or hot water to a bath, shower and the like is controlled by water temperature function switches arranged in cascade series at a control panel in order of priority descending to hot water. When a water temperature function switch corresponding to no water flow or water flow at the desired temperature is closed, a low voltage DC signal is sent to logic circuitry which, in turn, sends a low voltage DC signal to appropriate relays which control the operation of solenoid-operated valves, the inlets of which are connected to hot and cold water mains, the outlets of which are connected to a water delivery conduit leading to the bath, shower and the like. The logic circuitry comprises a pulse shaper circuit, a reset pulse circuit and a gate pulse circuit. A flow detector in the water delivery conduit senses when water flow therethrough has ceased, and sends a signal to the reset pulse circuit, which in turn signals the logic circuitry to shut down the system. An optional switch is provided to prevent the delivery of hot water to the water delivery circuit.
