ABSTRACT:
A traverse laying system for a weapon integral with a frame articulated in traverse with respect to a support providing a large traverse range around a first axis of rotation. The system includes positioning device for the weapon integral with the frame in order to ensure a small lateral range of the weapon around a second axis of rotation passing through the centre of gravity and perpendicular respectively to the longitudinal axis of the weapon and the traverse orientation axis. The first axis of rotation is located to the rear of the weapon's centre of gravity and the lateral range around the second axis may be of around 2°.
