ABSTRACT:
In accordance with the invention, there is described systems and methods for rapidly refreshing a sign display panel. Each display unit of the sign display panel receives a plurality of frames from the controller and stores each frame in memory. The controller then sends a plurality of display instructions. Upon receiving each display instruction, each display unit processes a frame from memory to update the display output device.
