A biometric fingerprint device for preventing fraud based on the device having standalone, self-authentication of the identity of predetermined user(s) and its interactivity with a database that is initiated via a controlled singularity of registration, i.e. contemporaneous registration of a user's fingerprint(s) into a database and registration, initialization, and authentication of that same fingerprint(s) onto a standalone biometric fingerprint device.
