ABSTRACT:
A syringe with which an accurate amount of a liquid can be discharged by a simple operation.The syringe1includes an outer tube2, a gasket3slidable in the outer tube2, a pusher4operable for moving the gasket3, and a stopper5disposed to be slidable along the longitudinal direction of the pusher4. The stopper5is fixed relative to the pusher4by the engagement of engaging portions, provided therein, with racks47a,47bformed on the pusher4. When an operating portion71is depressed, the fixation condition is released, permitting regulation of the position of the stopper5on the pusher4. When the depression on the operating portion71is canceled, the fixation condition is retained. When the pusher4is pressed in the tip end direction, a tip end face66of the stopper5comes into contact with a base end portion28of the outer tube2, whereby the depth of insertion of the pusher4into the outer tube2is restricted, and a set amount of a chemical100is discharged through a diameter-reduced portion22.
