ABSTRACT:
The present invention is a series of synthetic virus-like particles useful in the characterization of human papillomavirus infection and assays employing the synthetic virus-like particles. The synthetic virus-like particles are generated from constructs designated as HPV6:4; HPV6:5; HPV6:2; HPV6:4.DELTA.132; and HPV6:4,S131G.
