ABSTRACT:
Synthetic organic compounds that have certain functional groups incorporated into a 23-atom chain are useful as fly attractants. Novel compounds have the general formula ##STR1## where X is --S--, --O--, or --NH--; and where Y is --CH.sub.2 -- or ##STR2##
