ABSTRACT:
The process of hydrocyanating an .alpha.-cyanoacrylate ester with an alkali metal cyanide is improved by combining the reactants in an equivalent ratio of alkali metal cyanide to .alpha.-cyanoacrylate ester of from about 1:1 to about 1.1:1.
