ABSTRACT:
A method is provided to manufacture a mixture of 1,4-dicarboalkoxy-1-cyclohexene and 1,3-dicarboalkoxy-1-cyclohexene which can be cyclized and rearranged to isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid.
