ABSTRACT:
A simple process for the preparation of .beta.-aminostyrenes proceeds from anilines by successively diazotizing, reacting with a vinyl ester, and reacting with a secondary amine without purification of the intermediate products. The compounds are reactive enamines useful in organic synthesis.
