ABSTRACT:
The conversion of synthesis gas comprising hydrogen and carbon oxides to form oxygenate-containing mixtures which are limited compositionally in being virtually free of C.sub.11 + compounds, with a zeolite which is virtually free of acid sites and characterized by a silica to alumina mole ratio of at least about 12 and a constraint index within the range of 1 to 12, having intimately combined therewith a metal selected from the group consisting of rhodium, platinum, palladium and iridium.
