ABSTRACT:
A trityl perfluorophenyl alumninate such as tris(2,2',2"-nonafluorobiphenyl) fluoroaluminate (PBA.sup.-) and its role as a cocatalyst in metallocene-mediated olefin polymerization is disclosed.
