ABSTRACT:
A synchronous separating circuit in which the output synchronous signal of the circuit does not change is disclosed. The synchronous separating circuit comprises comparator, input capacitor disposed between an input terminal and the non-inverting input of the comparator, switching transistor and a constant current source. The inverting input of the comparator is set at a bias voltage and the output of the comparator controls the switching transistor for charging the non-inverting input of the comparator during a synchronous period at a constant rate. The constant current source discharges the non-inverting input during another period at a constant rate, so that the potential of the non-inverting input does not change. As a result, the period of the synchronous signal separated by the separating circuit does not change. The synchronous separating circuit is suitable for a liquid crystal TV or on-screen-display for a video system.
