ABSTRACT:
This invention provides a switching power supply control circuit based on the parallel operation scheme that suppresses ripples in the output voltage. The control circuit comprises switching circuit blocks10and20connected in parallel, output reactors31and32connected in parallel corresponding to the switching circuit blocks10and20, and a control circuit40that controls the operation of the switching circuit blocks10and20. The control circuit40comprises: means of calculating the difference between the reactor currents IL1and IL2flowing through the output reactors31and32and the average value of the reactor currents, means of generating control voltages Vo1and Vo2corresponding to the switching circuit blocks10and20based on the calculated differences and the output voltage Vopcomparators48and49that compare the control voltages Vo1and Vo2against the reference voltage Vrefand latch circuits51and52that latch the outputs of the comparators48and49in response to the clock signal CLK.
