ABSTRACT:
A stationary terminal 12 and a common terminal 13 are provided on a bottom of an insulating case 11. A pivot 14a is provided on an upper end of common terminal 13. A change-over plate 14 is rotatable about and brought into contact with the pivot 14a. A projection 16a, provided under slider 16, is brought into contact with and slidable along a sliding surface 14g of change-over plate 14 at a position lower than the pivot 14a. Change-over plate 14 causes a seesaw movement about the pivot 14a, and quickly accomplishes the switching movement regardless of the shifting speed of slider 16. Thus, it becomes possible to provide a switch which is highly reliable and free from burnout and welding of the contacts.
