ABSTRACT:
A swage or crimp press has a housing with a peripheral side wall and a front wall integrally formed with the side wall, the front wall defining an access opening providing access to a press zone arranged within the peripheral side wall, the housing having an open rear face and a rear wall secured by fastening means to the peripheral side wall to at least partially enclose the rear face of the housing, and a hydraulically operated press mechanism located within the housing at least partially surrounding the press zone.
