ABSTRACT:
A suspension arrangement for the wheels of vehicles comprising links (1&2), of equal pivotal length rotatably attached to the chassis or body at one end, at upper and lower chassis attachment points (3&4), and an axle support link (7), locating a wheel axle (8), at one end and attached at its other ends (5&6) to the opposite ends of the links (1&2). The spacing between attachments (3&4) is double that between (5&6) and the centre distance between the axle and its link attachment points is the same as the pivotal length of links (1&2). The geometry of said arrangement constrains the movement of the axle/wheel rectilinearly between the chassis attachment points and the angular displacement of the axle support link focuses to an axis (10), exhibiting slight rectilinear displacement.
