ABSTRACT:
A surface mounted antenna according to the present invention includes a dielectric block11,a radiating electrode12formed on one of a main surface11aof the dielectric block11,a ground electrode13formed on the other main surface11bof the dielectric block11,and a feed electrode14formed on a side surface11cof the dielectric block11and electromagnetically coupled with the radiating electrode12.In the present invention, since the feed electrode14is formed on the side surface11cof the dielectric block11,the size of the main surface11aof the dielectric block11can be made smaller than that of the conventional dielectric block. Accordingly, since further miniaturization can be realized, when the dielectric block11is mounted on a printed circuit board or the like, the mounting area can be reduced as compared with the conventional dielectric block.
