ABSTRACT:
An electrically insulated object13with a heat conduit at the interface between the layers of insulating tape16. The tape16has been, surface coated with a high thermal conductivity (HTC) material, so that the interface between the layers of tape23provides a pathway for the heat to reach the environment24. The radiation of heat through the tape layers is also increased by the surface coatings.
