ABSTRACT:
A SAW filter including a piezoelectric substrate11, an input electrode12and an output electrode13each representing an interdigital electrode disposed on the piezoelectric substrate11and two reflectors14and14disposed on the piezoelectric substrate11in an arrangement sandwiching both the input electrode12and the output electrode13between the reflectors. Each of the electrodes12and13include a plurality of electrode fingers121, 122and131, 132respectively. The electrode fingers are partially bent at an angle and include at least two linear sections which are spaced at a distance of λ/2 from one another in the propagating direction of the SAWs. The electrode fingers131and132of the output electrode13and electrode fingers141of the reflector14are structured similarly to the electrode fingers121and122of the input electrode12.
