ABSTRACT:
A surface acoustic wave device includes a quartz rotated Y-cut plate and at least one interdigital transducer disposed on the quartz rotated Y-cut plate. The quartz rotated Y-cut plate has a Euler angle represented by (0, .theta., .o slashed.). The angle .theta. is within a range of about 125.degree.<.theta.<130.degree. or equivalents thereto, and the angle .o slashed. is approximately 90 degrees. The interdigital transducer is made of tungsten.
