ABSTRACT:
A support of an intank pump at a pump support, which includes webs of elastic material that extend from the pump to the pump support in a direction deviating at an angle .alpha. from the radial which is determined by the longitudinal axis of the fuel pump. During swelling of the webs by the fuel, a rotary movement is thereby imparted to the pump without influencing the suction height. The webs may thereby have a relatively large volume as a result of which a good damping is achieved.
