ABSTRACT:
A restraint harness is disclosed for securing a passenger to a seat in a vehicle. The harness is particularly well adapted for transporting a passenger who is in a supine or prone position. The harness has a pair of lateral torso straps adapted to be placed around the torso of the passenger and fastened together. A pair of shoulder straps extend over the shoulders and intersect with the torso straps. A pair of thigh straps extend from one of the torso straps and encompass the passengers thighs. A leg strap encompass the passenger's legs. Existing vehicle seat belts fasten to the torso straps and the to the leg strap to secure the passenger to the seat.
