ABSTRACT:
The superfinishing apparatus according to the present invention includes a frame51for holding the entirety of the apparatus, a cam shaft52attached to the frame51so as to rotate freely, first and second eccentric cams53, 54which are attached to the cam shaft52and rotate with a phase difference of 180 degrees therebetween, a first vibrator55having a polygonal shape in its section which moves in a sliding manner in accordance with the rotation of the first eccentric cam53, a second vibrator57having a polygonal shape in its section which is disposed so as to oppose to the first vibrator55through the cam shaft52and moves in a sliding manner in accordance with the rotation of the second eccentric cam54, air bearings59, 60for supporting the first vibrator55and the second vibrator57, and a superfinishing stone61attached to the first vibrator55or the second vibrator57.
