ABSTRACT:
Reaction products which are prepared by sulphonation or sulphomethylation and formaldehyde condensation of compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents C.sub.1-4 -alkyl,
and, if appropriate, subsequent conversion of the resulting sulphonic acids into their salts are used as dispersing agents.
