ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a novel organophotoreceptor that includes:(a) a charge transport composition comprising molecules having the formulawhere the average n is between 1 and 1000;R1, R2, R3, and R4are, independently, hydrogen, a branched or linear alkyl group (e.g., a C1-C30alkyl group), a branched or linear unsaturated hydrocarbon group, an ether group, a cycloalkyl group (e.g. a cyclohexyl group), or an aryl group (e.g., a phenyl or naphthyl group);X is a divalent carbazole group or a divalent biscarbazole alkane group;Y is a divalent sulfonyldiphenylene group;Z is C(R4)—X—C(R3)═O double-bonded to the adjacent N or two hydrogens where each hydrogen is independently single-bonded to the adjacent N; andQ is O or N—N(R1)—Y—N(R2)—NH2;(b) a charge generating compound; and(c) an electrically conductive substrate over which the charge transport composition and the charge generating compound are located.
