ABSTRACT:
An improved method for sulfiding a petroleum distillate desulfurization catalyst which comprises sulfiding the catalyst composite with a sulfur-containing petroleum distillate at a temperature in excess of 660.degree.F. and thereafter conducting the desulfurization process at a temperature less than 650.degree.F.
