ABSTRACT:
A substrate having an inkjet ink disposed thereon. The ink comprises an IR-absorbing naphthalocyanine dye of formula (I):wherein:M is a metal group;R1and R2are selected from the group consisting of: H and C1-12alkoxy;W is selected from the group consisting of: a sulfonic acid group or a salt thereof; and a sulfonamide group;n1 is 0, 1, 2 or 3; n2 is 0, 1, 2 or 3; n3 is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and n4 is 0, 1, 2 or 3;provided that at least one of n1, n2, n3 or n4 is greater than 0.n4 is 0, 1, 2 or 3;provided that at least one of n1, n2, n3 or n4 is greater than 0.
