ABSTRACT:
Substituted trifluoromethanesulfonanilides wherein the anilide ring is bonded to a phenyl ring through a linking group selected from --CH.sub.2 --, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --, --CH(CH.sub.3)-- and ##EQU1## and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. These compounds are active anti-microbial agents.
