ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formulain-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?R—NH-Q  (I)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?provide pharmacological agents which are glucokinase activators and thus may be employed for the treatment of glucokinase mediated conditions. Accordingly, the compounds of formula (I) may be employed for prevention and treatment of impaired glucose tolerance, Type 2 diabetes and obesity.
