ABSTRACT:
New compounds of the formula ##SPC1##
Wherein X is halogen; Y is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkyl, halogen, alkoxy, nitro, alkylthio, alkylsulfoxide and alkylsulfone; and n is an integer from 0 to 4, provided a maximum of two Y's are selected from the group consisting of nitro when n is greater than two. A herbicidal composition comprising an inert carrier and, in a quantity toxic to weeds, a compound of the above description. A method of controlling weeds which comprises contacting said weeds with a herbicidal composition described.
