ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to substituted enaminones of Formula I and their derivatives and the discovery that these compounds modulate the effect of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) on the GABAAreceptor complex in a therapeutically relevant fashion and may be used to ameliorate CNS disorders amenable to modulation of the GABAAreceptor complex.
