ABSTRACT:
Novel compound having the formula and salts thereof: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is NHCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 SO.sub.3 H or OH and R.sub.2 is SO.sub.3 H or H, which potentiate the antibacterial activity of .beta.-lactam antibiotics and can be used for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by bacteria in mammals or domestic fowls, etc.
