A structure for mounting a heavy article27to a carrier body31via an intermediate member20,capable of temporarily fixing the heavy article during the mounting operation, wherein the intermediate member20is provided in a lower part thereof with a lower attachment portion21having holes26for fixing the heavy article27and in an upper part thereof with upper attachment portions23having engagement portions25for being temporarily fixed to the carrier body31and fixation portions24for being firmly fixed to the carrier body31.To fix the intermediate member20to the heavy article27,the lower attachment portion21of the former is sandwiched between a pair of elastic members28made of soft material, and fastened to the heavy article27by fastening members30through the holes26,for allowing a slight vibration of the heavy article27.
