Strontium salts of the sulphonic acids of formula (I):in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?A-B—SO3H (I),in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein:A represents a group selected from OH, NH2, SO3H and CO2H,B represents an arylene group or an optionally substituted linear or branched C1-C12alkylene chain wherein one or more carbon atoms of the alkylene chain may be optionally replaced by an oxygen atom, by a nitrogen atom or by an SO2group.Medicinal products containing the same which are useful in the treatment of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
