ABSTRACT:
A peg for a stringed instrument is provided, The peg has a main body10; a pair of bearings12erected at two sides of the main body so as to oppose each other, a worm gear21which is rotatably supported in a large diameter hole15and a small diameter hole16which has a knob29on one end portion, and a winding shaft30which is connected to the worm gear21via a worm wheel40. The bearing12is formed of a material having spring-like properties and thus has increased elastic limit and avoids deformation.
