ABSTRACT:
A high voltage bushing is formed from a plurality of insulating layers. Conductive layers are interleaved with the insulating layers, and are electrically insulated from each other. The ends of the conductive layers are overlapped by stress grading layers, to minimize the electrical stress on the bushing.
