ABSTRACT:
Prior to alteration of the communication route connecting the enterprise servers51to53, ports a, b and c of the enterprise server51are each connected with port1of the storage system7through the communication route. When enterprise server54is connected with the storage system7in response to a new connection request, the communication port of the storage system7with which ports a, b and c are respectively connected through the communication route is altered to port3. Due to this alteration, the enterprise server544can be connected through its port f via the communication route with the port1of the storage system7, which was thus freed.
