ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a storage device in which information is written and read using a head movable relative to a rotating disk medium encased in a housing. The housing has a base and a cover. Openings formed by a predetermined number of radial beams are provided in at least one of the cover and the base. Preferably, the beams extend between the periphery and a central area of the device.
