ABSTRACT:
A chain stitch sewing machine has a movable stitch eccentric shaft for switching between a bunch stitch and a long stitch and a rotatable main drive shaft. A mechanism is mounted on the main drive shaft for rotation therewith to move the eccentric shaft to effect the switching from the switch to the other while the machine is in operation.
