ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for driving a stepping motor in its single stepping mode of operation by supplying a series of alternate forward and reverse phases whereby the motor is caused to rotate through a single step. The motor may be operated in its slewing mode by supplying a series of alternate phases for each step in a series of steps.
