ABSTRACT:
A step attachment for conventional ladders includes two widened, horizontal steps, one in parallel, spaced-apart relation over the other, the forward edge of each step being positioned in the plane of the ladder and adapted for attachment to respective adjacent rungs of the ladder, and two substantially vertical support hangers pivotally and adjustably attached to the rear ends of the steps, the upper ends of which hangers are also positioned in the plane of the ladder and adapted for attachment to a rung of the ladder above the steps and to depend from the rung a sufficient distance downward to accommodate the pivotal, adjustable attachment of the steps to the hangers.
