ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a steering column bracket1including a receiving main body12put to the deck cross member2from below and a sling plate11straddling the deck cross member2from above to be spanned over the receiving main body2. The receiving main body12is formed into a sectionally groove shape by integrally coupling respective lower edges of a symmetric pair of abutting plate portions122, 122and a mounting plate portion121. The mounting plate portion121provides a mounting portion for the steering column. Each abutting plate portion122is formed in a shape of twin peaks that comprises a notch edge1221located between the twin peaks and shaped along a sectional shape of the deck cross member2, a front inclined edge1222, a rear inclined edge1224aligning with tangents L,L to the deck cross member2.
